About the session / Event

The ED Cell Sales Challenge 2023 took place on December 15, 2023, at the Chanakya Seminar Hall. This dynamic event aimed to test the marketing and sales skills of the students through a creative painting activity followed by a sales challenge.

Event Timeline: 11:00 AM: Students were briefed on rules and regulations.

12:30 PM: The creative painting activity commenced, allowing participants to showcase their uniqueness in designing the given product.

1:30 PM: The sales challenge kicked oƯ, providing participants with 1 hour to sell the creatively designed product on the college campus.

Participation and Response: We received a total of 1G Google responses, with 14 participants present on the event day. Additionally, 6 on-the-spot registrations were accepted.

EƯorts and Creativity:

– Participants demonstrated exceptional eƯort and creativity in both designing and selling, showcasing their pitching skills. Volunteers closely monitored participants to ensure fair play and prevent malpractices.

Fund Collection and Donation: Participants collectively raised a sum of Rs. 2650 during the event. As promised, the entire amount was donated to the Leo Club for a food donation drive. Donation Handover: Ms. Nischitha, faculty head of the Leo Club, received the donation amount in support of their charitable initiatives.

Objective of this event

  1. To help the students to understand the functional concept of selling a product how it operates
  2. To highlight the importance of entrepreneurship
  3. To make students understand the merits and limitations of entrepreneurship

  2. Activating the entrepreneurial skills of students


  1. 1st Place: Akshay B and teammate Balaji M from 1 B.Com A – Recognized for the uniqueness of the product design and an impressive sales
  2. 2nd Place: Harsha Reddy and teammate Aishwarya Madhusudan from 1 Com – Utilized a unique approach by filling the product with candies and incorporating a badminton dribbling challenge.
  3. 3rd Place: Srijan Gupta and teammate Vishnu Patel from 3 BBA- Showcased excellent marketing skills by decorating the product attractively and successfully selling it to a
