The New Horizon College, Marathahalli, organized its Alumni Meet for the year 2023 on September 2nd, 2023, at 10:00 AM in the college auditorium. The event was a grand success, witnessed by over 266 enthusiastic alumni from various batches.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of several dignitaries, including the college’s Principal, Dr. Bodhisatvan, and the Director of the Alumni Association, Dr. Anita Rai. Heads of various departments, Ms. Kampa Belliappa, the Head of the New Horizon Student Activities Council (NHSAC), and faculty members added to the grace of the occasion.
The highlight of the event was the presence of the Chief Guest, Dr. Rajdeep Manwani, an acclaimed Academician and Motivational Speaker. Dr. Manwani delivered a powerful lecture sharing his life experiences, expectations, and profound motivation towards life. His address was both inspiring and thought-provoking, emphasizing his firm belief in the motto of his life, “Touching lives, making a difference.”
Following Dr. Manwani’s impactful speech, the Principal of New Horizon College extended a warm welcome and heartfelt congratulations to all the alumni for their presence at the event, acknowledging their significant role in the college’s journey.
The alumni were treated to a delightful cultural extravaganza organized by the Cultural Committee of New Horizon College. The program featured a variety of performances including dance, drama, stand-up comedy, a fashion show, and musical performances. The alumni thoroughly enjoyed these captivating displays of talent and creativity, reliving cherished memories from their college days.
At the end of the program, several alumni took the opportunity to express their gratitude and share how much they enjoyed the event. They expressed their eagerness to participate again in the next year’s Alumni Meet, highlighting the strong bonds and memories that tie them to their alma mater.
To conclude the day on a delightful note, a sumptuous lunch was arranged for all the alumni, providing a perfect opportunity for alumni to network, reconnect, and reminisce about their college experiences.
