The Gender Equity Cell recently conducted a personal grooming seminar led by Miss Shrilakshmi Hegde. Focused on health and hygiene, the seminar targeted female students, imparting essential knowledge to inspire them to uphold proper practices. Miss Hegde delved into the significance of a first impression and shared insights on confidently navigating various situations. Notably, she placed emphasis on menstruation hygiene, providing crucial information on the proper use of sanitary pads.
The Main objectives of this Seminar is to promote empowerment, equality and inclusivity.
- To educate and create awareness about the importance of health and hygiene practices among girl students.
- To equip girl students with the necessary skills to present themselves professionally in various settings, including academic, professional, and social environments.
The Personal Grooming Seminar concluded on a positive note, with participants expressing gratitude for the holistic approach to personal development. The Gender Equity Cell remains committed to organizing such impactful seminars that contribute to the empowerment and well-being of the girl students within our institution.
