About the Session/event:

During the session, we discussed “Intimidation and Victimization,” which encompassed a wide range of deviant behavior. Victimization in the workplace can have far-reaching effects on the victim, their family, the organizational culture, and employees’ morale. Ms. Shwetha Rajeev, a master trainer and professional speaker with over 15 years of experience in soft skill training, served as the speaker and guided us on identifying and addressing such issues. She is the co-founder of Eshanth Institution of Learning & Empower Skills and also serves as the CEO of Gururaja Electrical Services. Her extensive experience in dealing with such issues in both personal and professional settings provided valuable insight to both staff and students.

The primary goal was to provide support to the staff and students by helping them recognize any situations where they might find themselves as a victim or a possible bully. Additionally, the session was focused on empowering them to overcome the fear and anxiety associated with such situations. By providing a comprehensive understanding of these circumstances, the staff and students were better prepared to identify, prevent, and manage any negative or challenging experiences.

The students actively participated and expressed their opinions on the topic. Ms. Shwetha even informed them about various platforms where they could seek help if they ever found themselves stuck in certain situations. The session was enlightening and ended on a positive note, creating an awareness among the students.
