New Horizon College Marathahalli celebrated a momentous occasion on September 25, 2023, as it organized the Graduation Day for the 2020-2023 batch of BCom, BBA, and BCA students. This joyous event was a culmination of years of hard work and dedication by the graduating students. The ceremony was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, faculty members, and proud parents, making it a memorable day for all.

Dr. Bodhisatvan, the Principal of New Horizon College Marathahalli, presided over the ceremony, guiding and motivating the students to embark on their future journeys. Mr. Arun Raghu Babu, the Head of the BBA Department, played a pivotal role in nurturing the business minds of the graduating students. Ms. Prasanna Prakash, the Head of the BCom Department, mentored the commerce graduates, instilling in them the knowledge and skills needed for the corporate world. Dr. Nagaraju Kilari, the Head of the BCA Department, guided the computer science graduates through their academic journey, preparing them for the dynamic IT industry. Mr. Muniraja, the Administrator of New Horizon College, ensured the smooth execution of the event and provided administrative support.

The chief guest for the event was Capt Siva Subramanyam, an individual with a remarkable commitment to social welfare. He graduated from Delhi University’s Hans Raj College and started studying law but was drawn away by the call of the army, where he was commissioned into the elite Parachute Regiment Special Forces. With 32 years of active involvement in Lions Clubs International, he has led successful projects focused on improving rural school conditions, particularly for underprivileged children.

Event Highlights:

The graduation ceremony was attended by approximately 800 people, including students and their proud parents. Meritorious students were recognized for their outstanding achievements and were awarded merit certificates and financial incentives by the college management.

Parents expressed their overwhelming joy and pride in witnessing their children graduate, marking a significant milestone in their educational journey. Each graduating student was called upon the stage to receive their graduation scrolls, symbolizing the successful completion of their respective courses. Following the formal proceedings, a delectable lunch was provided to all attendees, creating an atmosphere of celebration and togetherness.
