Brief description of the event: Genesis, a dunce debate in which you may participate alone or with a partner, was a vibrant and amazing event judged by alumni Shreya Subramanian. The subjects were presented on the spot, requiring participants to be considered by the alumni based on their ability to think critically and argue powerfully. Whether defending a logical claim or criticizing an illogical one, the students had to use wit and reason to back up their arguments. It was a fantastic event where the students practised their debating skills and engaged in intellectual discourse. Our beloved alumni, Ms. Shreya Subramanian, judged the event and gave the participants useful feedback and insights. Her presence lent a sense of grandeur and expertise to the event.
