BLOOD DONATION

Overview:

On January 30th, 2024, a successful blood donation event was held at Quadrangle Shaheed Hemu Kalani Block organized by The Elite Horizonte’s LEO CLUB & THE NSS UNIT . The event aimed to address the ongoing need for blood supply in our community and to encourage voluntary blood donations.

Participation:

The event saw a remarkable turnout, with a total of 102 donors participating throughout the day. Individuals from various age groups and backgrounds came forward to contribute to this noble cause. Their generosity and willingness to donate blood played a crucial role in the success of the event.

Collaboration:

The event was made possible through collaborative efforts between NARAYANA MEDICAL CARE]. Their support in organizing the event, providing resources, and spreading awareness significantly contributed to its effectiveness.

Safety Measures:

In adherence to strict safety protocols, all necessary precautions were taken to ensure the health and safety of donors and staff. Pre-screening measures, including temperature checks and health questionnaires, were implemented to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. Additionally, sanitation stations were set up, and social distancing guidelines were followed throughout the event venue.

Impact:

The blood donation event had a profound impact on our community. The blood collected will be used to support patients in need of transfusions due to medical emergencies, surgeries, and ongoing medical treatments.
