About the event: An IQAC initiative Commerce Club organized ” Road Safety and Traffic Awareness” Program for IIyear B.COM students.
OBJECTIVE:
1. To create awareness about Road safety.
2. Drivers/riders/pedestrians should be aware of safety measures and also follow traffic rules and regulations.
3. To avoid accidents and protect precious life.
4. To ensure smooth flow of traffic.
An IQAC initiative COMMERCE CLUB organized “Road Safety and Traffic Awareness Program” in Chanakya Seminar Hall on 08/02/2023. The resource persons who addressed the gathering were Mr. SAMUEL HENRY Joint chief Traffic warden, Bangalore City Police & Divisional Incharge in Whitefield Division, Mr. VIRENDRA KUMAR Deputy Divisional Incharge, Whitefield Division, Traffic warden Organization Bangalore City Police, Mrs. INDRANI MEDHI, traffic warden, Bangalore City Police, HAL Zone and Mrs. MANJU MEHRA .
They spoke on various topics that brought awareness to the students on traffic rules and the impact of not following the general rules.
OUTCOME:
People are educated about traffic rules and regulations.
