Induction Programme Report – BBA Semester I (Sections A & B)
The Department of BBA at New Horizon College conducted an Induction Program for its newly admitted Semester I students (Sections A and B) on 29th July 2026 at Falconry Hall, New Horizon Knowledge Park. The session was inaugurated by HoD Ms. Sunitha S, who spoke on staying updated with technology and building academic focus and competitive skills.
This was followed by a session led by Ms. Sri Vidya on “Transition to College – Academic Stress and Procrastination,” which helped students recognize early signs of stress and understand how procrastination affects learning. The interactive session equipped students with practical strategies for time management, goal setting, and seeking support to balance academic performance with mental well-being. Overall, the induction gave new BBA students a strong foundation in institutional expectations and self-management skills as they began their college journey.
