💡 MOCKATHON 2025 - Innovation Challenge
The Mockathon 2025 was an exciting 3-day Innovation Challenge organized by the IT Club of New Horizon College (NHCM). The event encouraged BCA students to explore creativity, innovation, and teamwork through structured ideation, development, and presentation. Over three days, participants advanced through planning, execution, and showcasing of their tech-driven solutions.

The Mockathon Day 1 marked the beginning of an exhilarating 3-day Innovation Challenge focusing on planning and ideation. Teams transformed their ideas into structured project plans with guidance from Faculty Coordinator Ms. Alka Sinha and Student Coordinators. The day featured brainstorming sessions, challenge selection, and blueprint development for the upcoming phases.
This day laid the foundation for innovation, helping teams structure their ideas for execution and presentation in the following days. It showcased NHCM’s dedication to hands-on, practical learning and collaborative creativity.

Mockathon Day 2 transformed the workspace into a vibrant innovation lab as teams began executing their projects.
Armed with structured plans from Day 1, students engaged in coding, designing, and testing their solutions with great enthusiasm.
Faculty and student coordinators provided continuous support to help teams overcome technical challenges.
This day provided an authentic real-world development experience, teaching teamwork, debugging, time management, and agile methodology — essential skills for professional success in the technology industry.

The final day of Mockathon featured project presentations before the esteemed judge,
Dr. Nagraj, Head of the BCA Department. Teams showcased fully functional prototypes
across domains like healthcare, education, sustainability, and e-commerce, displaying remarkable creativity and technical skill.
The event concluded with feedback and recognition, reinforcing the college’s commitment to innovation, learning, and industry readiness. Participants gained valuable experience in presentation, teamwork, and practical project execution.
