Brief Description of the Event
On 13th October 2025, the NAVARASA Drama Club in collaboration with the Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell conducted a powerful and thought-provoking street play on the theme of “Anti Sexual Harassment”.
The play aimed to spread awareness among students about the importance of preventing sexual harassment and maintaining a safe, respectful campus culture. It emphasized understanding consent, recognizing inappropriate behavior, and encouraging students to speak out against harassment of any form.
Through expressive performances and impactful dialogues, the drama team highlighted real-life scenarios that depicted both subtle and overt instances of harassment, promoting self-awareness and empathy within the audience.
The event also shed light on the POSH Act, 2013 (Prevention of Sexual Harassment), outlining its objectives and the protective measures in place. Students were informed about the college’s support systems and reporting mechanisms to ensure safety, equality, and respect for all.
Conclusion
The Street Play on Anti Sexual Harassment successfully delivered a powerful social message that resonated with the entire campus community. The initiative encouraged open dialogue and reinforced the college’s commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for every student.
