The parent teacher association meet was held in New Horizon College, Marathalli at 1:30 pm in the Chanakya seminar hall. There was an introductory speech given by the principal about the significance and constitution of PTA. The meeting delved into relevant topics such as administration, value added programs, internal assessments, attendance. The synergy between industry and academics etc. including other relevant issues. The interaction proceeded to the guidance on how to monitor their wards and create a sustainable relationship. Principal also stressed on the importance of enriching oneself and aiding practical learning as to aid one’s personal and career growth. Principal also assured parents about multifarious career options including defence, civil service jobs, which is already under way. He also envisioned a separate department for competitive exams and civil services.
The parents were elated with their wards performance and the choice of the college, which has been getting very positive response. It was very helpful and productive meet to discuss education and the role of parents and Institution.
The meeting was summed up with principal assuring the invitee parents to continue the support for PTA and that their concerns would be addressed in befitting and benefitting manner.
