About the Event:
Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell organized a Poetry Writing Competition on the topic “Empowering Voices Against Harassment” for all BBA., B. Com, and B.CA students on 22.11.2024 between 12:30 – 1:30 P.m. at room no:302, Shaheed Hemu Kalani Block.
The poetry writing competition on the theme “Empowering Voices Against Harassment” aimed to amplify awareness about the pervasive harassment issue and encourage participants to express their insights and experiences creatively. Organized by the Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell, the event provided a platform for students to reflect on the social, emotional, and psychological impacts of harassment, fostering empathy and understanding through poetic expression. The competition emphasized the importance of resilience, empowerment, and solidarity, highlighting the need to challenge societal norms and promote respect in all spheres of life. This initiative reinforced the institution’s dedication to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment, using the power of words to inspire change and raise awareness about critical social issues.
A diverse group of 24 participants actively contributed their voices to this crucial conversation, adding depth and perspective to the discourse.
A heartfelt acknowledgement goes to our esteemed judge, Ms. M.K.Divya , Assistant Professor, English Department for her valuable contributions to the success of the Poetry Writing Competition. She evaluated the poems based on creativity, thematic relevance, originality, and emotional impact.
Objectives of the Event
