Overview
The Industrial Visit Cell organized an educational visit to KMF/Nandini Mega Dairy to provide students with practical exposure to dairy operations and the FMCG industry. The visit focused on helping students understand milk processing, product manufacturing, packaging systems, and quality standards followed in a large-scale dairy plant.

Students explored key production units such as milk reception, testing, pasteurisation, homogenisation, product manufacturing (curd, butter, ghee, etc.), and automated packaging. They also observed the cold storage facility and learned about logistics and distribution processes. An interactive session allowed students to clarify doubts related to quality control, supply chain management, and technological integration in dairy processing.

Outcome
The visit offered valuable real-world insights into dairy industry operations, bridging the gap between classroom learning and industrial practices. It enhanced student understanding of food processing, hygiene standards, and automation, motivating many to explore careers in dairy technology and the FMCG sector.
