Induction Programme – 30th July 2026: Viksit Bharat @2047 & Library Orientation
On 30th July 2026, the Department of BCA, BBA & B.Com conducted two induction sessions for I Semester students at the Auditorium, New Horizon Knowledge Park.
Session 1 (10:00 AM–12:30 PM): Induction Programme on Viksit Bharat @2047
Delivered by Mr. Raghavendra Nagaraj, Assistant Professor, Mysuru, this session introduced students to the Government of India’s Viksit Bharat @2047 vision. It covered youth participation, innovation, entrepreneurship, skill development, and emerging technologies (AI, Data Science, Cyber Security, Digital Governance), along with schemes such as Skill India Mission, PMKVY, Startup India, Digital India, PM Internship Scheme, MY Bharat, National Career Service, SWAYAM, and NPTEL. The session ended with an interactive Q&A, motivating students to become responsible contributors to a developed India by 2047.
Session 2 (12:30 PM–1:00 PM): Library Orientation Programme
This session familiarised students with the library layout, sections (reference, textbooks, periodicals, journals, digital resources), login and borrowing procedures, and a live demonstration of the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) for searching and locating resources. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, leaving students confident to use library facilities throughout their academic journey.
Together, both sessions equipped students with national developmental awareness and practical academic resource skills to support their college journey.
