Guest Lecture on “Investment Insights: Pathways to Wealth Creation”
The Department of Commerce in association with IQAC conducted a guest lecture on Investment Insights: Pathways to Wealth Creation on 23rd July 2025. The guest lecture was delivered in the Chanakya Seminar Hall where students from 1st-semester B. Com and BBA took part. The session was an interactive guest lecture in which Ms. Sowmya Anand, working with Finsafe India Private Ltd. addressed the gathering. She holds over 15 years of experience in the mutual fund and financial services industry.
Ms. Sowmya Anand took this opportunity to speak about the upcoming scope of investing in stock market and mutual funds. She also explained the growth chart of stock market and the prospective growth in the upcoming years. She let the students hold different perspectives about the increase in value of the capital market. Strategies used by various leading companies were brought to light along with their market share in the capital market. She also mentioned the opportunities for the students to invest.
