Collage-making competition titled “AIKYAM - We All Blend the Same Color”

On November 7, 2024, the Human Rights Protection Cell, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized a collage-making competition titled “AIKYAM – We All Blend the Same Color” for BBA, B.Com, and BCA students.

The event aimed to raise awareness about critical human rights themes, with sub-themes including the right to work and education, children’s and women’s rights, equality and non-discrimination, the right to life and liberty, freedom of expression, dignity, freedom and justice for all, peace and security, and freedom from slavery and torture.

The competition was coordinated by the Cell Head, Ms. Serah Sudhin, and the Faculty Coordinator, Ms. Ashwini Shedthi. Student coordinators included Chetana V, Shruthika V, Chandana V, and Chinmayi V from BBA, along with Aishwarya Madhusudhan and Girish from B.Com.

Held in the Quadrangle of the Shahid Hemu Kalani Block, the event saw participation from 10 teams. After a spirited display of creativity and commitment to the sub-themes, the winners were announced:

– 1st Prize: Amoulya, Prithvi Krishna, and Ravi Teju N

– 2nd Prize: Vardan MN, Prajwal SN, Dhanya Bhoomika Shree, Varshith Gowda, and Greeshmanth

– 3rd Prize: Sourabha N, Dhanyashree, and K Manoj Kumar

The event was a resounding success, fostering a spirit of awareness and creativity among the students.
