Clean India 2018

New Horizon College, Marathalli, organized a campaign for clean India at Lalbagh, Bangalore, on 20th August 2018. Team Outreach and National Service Scheme joined hands for the campaign and a total of 125 students from BBA, BComand BCA took part in it. The students, 65 girls and 60 boys, were guided by NSS Programme Officer, NSS co-ordinator and two co-ordinators from Outreach Committee. The students reached the venue at 10 am by two college buses, and started the clean initiative with full dedication. Students were briefed about Green India and on the importance of collective responsibility. It was a new learning-based activity for the students and they expressed their desire for more such activities. Refreshments were provided to all students and they came back at 5 pm to the college campus.
