About the Event:
To promote and preserve human rights in the campus Human Rights Protection Cell of New Horizon College organised a Poster Making competition on the theme “Being Human”. The objective of this event is to create the awareness on importance of the humanity.It also aims at personality development of individual and to lead a decent and dignified life without infringing the rights of others.
There were total of 23 teams actively took part in the competition. The students expressed their views and thoughts about the topic by drawing, writing slogans and quotes. One could see and feel the enthusiasm that the students had in their posters. This activity kept the student engaged and it was organized to explore and encourage creativity in students and offer them a platform to showcase their skills. It inspired them to think and work creatively in order to promote artistic excellence.
The event was hosted by Ms.Amrutha (III Sem BCA ‘A’). The faculty coordinator of the event was Ms. N Anuradha. The event was co-ordinated with Cell Head Ms. Serah Sudhin and cell members. The judges of the event were Dr. D Krishna Kumar, Department of Management Studies, NHCE and Prof. Santosh Kumar S, Department of Management Studies, NHCE.
Overall the event was successful.
