B.Com Inauguration & Orientation Programme – Batch 2026–27 (27th July 2026)
The Department of B.Com, New Horizon College, organised the Inauguration and Orientation Programme for the newly-admitted B.Com Batch 2026–27 students on 27th July 2026 (10:00 AM–12:30 PM) at the college auditorium. The event welcomed new students and their parents into the college community, featuring the National Song, Invocation Dance, Lighting of the Lamp, a Welcome Address, an introduction to NHEI and New Horizon College, a college introductory video, and an address by Principal Dr. R. Bodhisatvan. The formal proceedings concluded with the Vote of Thanks, the National Anthem, and a snack distribution session that allowed students to interact informally.
The programme gave students and parents a warm and formal introduction to the institution’s academic environment, helping students feel confident and comfortable as they began their college journey. The Principal’s address encouraged students to approach their college years with enthusiasm, responsibility, and a positive attitude. Overall, the event successfully set a positive tone for the academic year, marking the students’ first step into the New Horizon College community.
