Event Overview:
On 8th July 2023, the Fashion Club of New Horizon College organized a remarkable event called “Poshaak – An Ethnic Elegance.” The event aimed to celebrate the rich cultural diversity and heritage of India by showcasing traditional ethnic wear through a ramp walk competition. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from approximately 60 students, who showcased their ethnic attire with grace and poise.
The main highlight of the event was the “Hunt for Ms. Ethnic and Mr. Ethnic.” Participants were judged based on their fashion sense, confidence, stage presence, and how well they carried the ethnic outfits. Each contestant brought their unique style and charm to the stage, making the competition tough for the esteemed panel of judges.
The event was graced by two distinguished judges, Ms. Sowmya, the Dean of Life Science at New Horizon College, and Mr. Sai, an esteemed alumnus of the college. Both judges brought their expertise and knowledge to the table, ensuring a fair and unbiased evaluation of the participants.
