A One-Day workshop was conducted by the IQAC & ED-Cell of New Horizon College-Marathahalli. The guest speaker,Mr. Gaurav Singh, spoke on the following topics:
- E-Business transition to knowledge based economy-best practice in ICT
- Business creation and development-stimulating start-ups
Mr Singh spoke about the necessity to upgrade to catch up with the upcoming revolutions and the need to spearhead entrepreneurship to sustain in the long run. He also talked about equipping the aspirants with necessary tools to help them emerge as tycoons in the market. It was an interactive session, and the workshop recorded an attendance of 156 participants including participants from the sister concern- New Horizon College Kasturinagar.
Speaker’s Profile: Mr. Gaurav Singhdual Degree holder in MBA (IIM-A & Lancaster Uni.), M.Tech in (Robotics/CAD, CAM) started his career as a Networking Consultant with Infosys Pvt. Ltd and as a Campus Recruiter. He has expertise in Computer Aided Designing for Product Modelling during his tenure at IIT- ROORKEE (Dept. Sc. & Tech). He has 12+ yrs of experience as an Educationalist. He currently holds the designation of Regional Manager, Karnataka, at National Entrepreneurship Network-Wadhwani Foundation.
