Induction Programme – 31st July 2026: Bridge Between Business & Technology
On 31st July 2026 (10:30 AM–12:30 PM), the Department of BCA, BBA & B.Com organised an Induction Programme titled “Bridge Between Business & Technology” for I Semester students at the Auditorium, New Horizon Knowledge Park. The session was led by Chief Guest Pradeep Kumar Ashokan (Founder | Director of Engineering | DevOps & AI Evangelist), along with Radhika K (Principal Consultant, Project Management) and Sachin Khandelwal (Lead Engineer).
The session explored the growing integration of business and technology, covering emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, IoT, Blockchain, Cyber Security, and Digital Marketing, and how organisations use them to improve efficiency, automate processes, and enable data-driven decisions. Students learned about digital transformation tools like E-Commerce platforms, ERP, CRM software, and Business Intelligence tools, and were introduced to career pathways in Business Analytics, FinTech, Data Science, Product Management, and Entrepreneurship. The speakers emphasised developing interdisciplinary skills — technical expertise combined with business acumen, communication, and adaptability — and encouraged participation in internships, certifications, and innovation activities.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A on careers, higher education, and emerging technologies, motivating students to become industry-ready, technology-driven professionals.
