About the Session/event:
A three day FDP on the topics Qualitative and quantitative research methods , Professional Etiquette and Ethics and Alternative Learning Approaches for enhanced students’ engagement was conducted.
The objective of the FDP was to bring awareness on the methods for an effective Qualitative and quantitative research methods , understanding the professional Etiquette and Ethics to be followed in work culture and alternative Learning approaches for enhanced students’ engagement and participative learning.
The speaker of Day 1 FDP was Prof. Jagadish H Patil who brought importance design thinking for the having an effective Qualitative and quantitative research methods. The speaker of Day 2 was Dr. Madhavi R discussed on need for soft skills, professional etiquettes and ethics in work culture. The day 3 speaker was Dr. Sowmya Narayanan. She discussed on various teaching tools and approaches of effective participative teaching for enhanced student engagement.
The outcome of the FDP was, faculty members got an insight knowledge about the application of qualitative and quantitative research methods through design thinking, the need for professional etiquette and ethics for a smooth and healthy work environment and various pedagogical techniques that can be applied in day to day classroom teaching for enhanced students’ engagement.
