Anti Ragging 2017 – Oct
An anti ragging Awareness Programme was conducted on the 7th October 2017 at the quandrangle of Shaheed Hemu Kalani Block. The awareness programme was named STAR 2017 – Stand Together Against Ragging. The awareness programme started off with a Street Play by tea Navarasa scripted by Ms.Jissa A Varghese. The street play demonstrated the ill effects of ragging, recent statistics of ragging related crimes and the law related to ragging. The students also remembered the various students who have lost their lifes as a result of ragging followed by the street play the senior students tied band on their hands of junior as a token of their new found friendship nd support. A pledge towards ragging free campus was taken and the campaign was started by Dr.R.Bodhisatvan, Principal New Horizon College Marathahalli signing the banner followed by the teachers and students.
